376 Broadway is a Privately Owned Public Space on Broadway at the border between Tribeca and SoHo, providing outdoor seating on one of the most historically significant commercial avenues in the world.
Broadway in Lower Manhattan is one of the oldest and longest streets on the island, following the route of an ancient Native American trail that predates European settlement. The avenue runs the entire length of Manhattan and continues into the Bronx and Westchester County.
This section of Broadway, near Canal Street, is at the intersection of three distinct neighborhoods: Tribeca's loft-converted warehouses to the south, SoHo's cast-iron buildings to the north, and Chinatown's bustling markets to the east.
The convergence of these neighborhoods at this point on Broadway creates an extraordinarily diverse streetscape where luxury boutiques, dim sum restaurants, and art galleries can be found within a few blocks of each other.
This seating area provides outdoor space at one of Manhattan's most dynamic neighborhood intersections, on an avenue that has been a major thoroughfare for over four centuries.
