Douglaston Park is a 22-acre park in the Douglaston section of northeastern Queens, situated along the shores of Little Neck Bay. The park is home to the Douglaston Park Golf Course, a public course that provides affordable golf with waterfront views in one of Queens' most affluent residential areas.
Douglaston is one of the most suburban and affluent neighborhoods in Queens, with large homes, tree-lined streets, and a village-like character that is more reminiscent of Long Island's North Shore than of New York City. The neighborhood's historic district includes homes dating to the 17th century.
The park's golf course occupies much of the acreage, providing an 18-hole public layout with views of Little Neck Bay and the North Shore of Long Island. The course draws golfers from across northeastern Queens and Nassau County.
Beyond the golf course, the park includes walking paths, waterfront access, and natural areas along the bay shore. The park's location at the water's edge provides opportunities for birding, fishing, and quiet enjoyment of the bay's tidal environment.
Douglaston Park serves one of the most residential and least urban neighborhoods in Queens, providing the kind of green space and recreational amenities that complement the area's suburban character and waterfront setting.
