Seaside Wildlife Nature Park

Seaside Wildlife Nature Park is a five-acre nature preserve near Nelson Avenue and Tennyson Drive in the South Beach area of Staten Island. The park protects coastal habitat including marsh, scrub, and meadow ecosystems that support wildlife along the island's eastern shore.

The preserve provides habitat for shorebirds, songbirds, butterflies, and other wildlife in an area where residential development has consumed much of the original coastal landscape. The park's naturalized character provides ecological diversity that more developed parks cannot replicate.
