Father Macris Park

Father Macris Park is a six-acre park at Todt Hill Road and Ocean Terrace in the Todt Hill and Dongan Hills area of central Staten Island. Named for a local religious leader, the park provides recreation space in one of the island's more affluent residential areas.

Todt Hill is the highest point on the Atlantic seaboard south of Maine, reaching an elevation of 409.8 feet above sea level. The neighborhood's hilltop location provides panoramic views and has attracted wealthy residents since the 19th century, including members of the Vanderbilt and Cunard families.

The park features a playground, athletic courts, and open green areas set amid the rolling terrain that characterizes Todt Hill. The park's elevation and mature tree cover give it a pleasant, park-like atmosphere enhanced by the natural topography.
