Cypress Hills Park

Cypress Hills Park is an 4.95-acre park in the Cypress Hills neighborhood of eastern Brooklyn, stretching from Fulton Street to Jamaica Avenue between Chestnut Street and Euclid Avenue. The park serves one of Brooklyn's quieter residential neighborhoods, providing athletic fields and green space to the surrounding community.

Cypress Hills takes its name from the historic Cypress Hills Cemetery, one of Brooklyn's great Victorian-era burial grounds, which lies nearby. The neighborhood developed as a residential community in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, attracting working-class families seeking affordable housing within commuting distance of industrial employment.
