DUMBO Waterfront is the section of Brooklyn's waterfront between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges in the neighborhood of DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), providing what is arguably the most photographed view in all of New York City.

The view from Washington Street looking toward the Manhattan Bridge, with the Empire State Building framed perfectly between the bridge's stone archway, has become one of the most iconic images of New York City in the social media age.

DUMBO was an industrial neighborhood of warehouses and factories until the 1990s, when artists and developers began converting the buildings into lofts, galleries, and eventually luxury condominiums. The transformation made DUMBO one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

The waterfront between the two bridges provides continuous access to Brooklyn Bridge Park, with Jane's Carousel, the Time Out Market, and Empire Stores (a converted warehouse complex) all within walking distance.

DUMBO Waterfront offers the most Instagrammed view in New York City, where two iconic bridges, the Manhattan skyline, and a revitalized industrial waterfront create a composition that has come to define Brooklyn in the 21st century.
