Fresh Meadows Park is a neighborhood park in the Fresh Meadows section of eastern Queens, providing green space in one of the borough's planned postwar residential developments.
The Fresh Meadows housing development, built in 1949 by the New York Life Insurance Company, was one of the most ambitious middle-class suburban developments in New York City history. The planned community included apartments, townhouses, shops, and recreational facilities.
