MacNeil Park

MacNeil Park is a 29-acre waterfront park on the East River in the College Point section of northern Queens. Officially named Hermon A. MacNeil Park for the American sculptor Hermon A. MacNeil, a longtime College Point resident, it provides waterfront access and recreation in a neighborhood with a distinct small-town character on the shores of the East River.

College Point's waterfront has been gradually reclaimed for public use after decades of industrial activity. MacNeil Park represents one of the most significant waterfront parks in the neighborhood, providing direct river access and views across the water to the Bronx, Randall's Island, and the Whitestone Bridge.
