Pulaski Park

Pulaski Park is a three-quarter-acre park at East 185th Street and Arthur Avenue in the Belmont neighborhood, the heart of the Bronx's legendary Little Italy. Named for Casimir Pulaski, the Polish-born hero of the American Revolution, the park provides recreation space in one of the most culturally vibrant neighborhoods in the borough.

Arthur Avenue and the surrounding Belmont neighborhood have been the center of Italian-American culture in the Bronx for over a century. Unlike Manhattan's Little Italy, which has largely been absorbed by Chinatown, Belmont retains a thriving Italian food and cultural scene, with bakeries, delis, pasta shops, and restaurants that draw visitors from across the region.
