Vidalia Park

Vidalia Park is a one-acre park at East 175th Street and Bronx River Avenue in the West Farms section of the Bronx. The park provides a small recreation space in a neighborhood situated between the Bronx River and the busy commercial corridors of the central borough.

West Farms takes its name from its location west of the Bronx River, where colonial-era farms once occupied the fertile riverbank land. The neighborhood has been urbanized for over a century, but its name preserves the agricultural past that preceded the dense residential development.
