110 Wall Street is a Privately Owned Public Space in the Financial District, near the South Street Seaport and the East River waterfront. The outdoor plaza provides open space in the eastern portion of Lower Manhattan.
The eastern edge of the Financial District, along Water, Front, and South Streets, has been transformed from a maritime commercial district into a mixed-use neighborhood of office towers, residential conversions, and waterfront recreation.
The South Street Seaport, a few blocks south, preserves the 19th-century maritime heritage of this part of Manhattan, with historic ships, a museum, and a market that draw tourists and locals to the waterfront.
