Playground 103 CIII

Playground 103 CIII (the Roman numeral designation denoting the 103rd playground in the Manhattan park system) is a just-over-one-acre playground along the FDR Drive at East 103rd Street in East Harlem. The playground serves families in one of Manhattan's most densely populated neighborhoods.

The playground's utilitarian name reflects the older NYC Parks naming convention where playgrounds without a specific namesake were designated by number. While many have since been renamed for local heroes or community figures, Playground 103 retains its original numerical designation.

Facilities include play equipment for children, basketball courts, and open areas for informal recreation.
