Van Nest Park

Van Nest Park is a neighborhood park in the Van Nest section of the Bronx, providing recreational space for one of the borough's residential communities in the eastern Bronx.

The Van Nest neighborhood takes its name from Abraham Van Nest, a 19th-century landowner whose farm once occupied the area. The neighborhood developed as a working-class residential community in the early 20th century.
